Retreat Facilitator

Nat Flammia is a strategic, results-driven facilitator and an experienced florist who brings a rare blend of creativity, operational know-how, and people-centered leadership to everything she does. She is an organized, thoughtful communicator known for helping teams envision and implement bespoke systems and collaborative programming that drive meaningful impact.

Nat holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Simmons University and a BA in Psychology and Spanish from Wake Forest University. She grew up in her family’s boutique New York flower shop, worked as a florist in Boston, and was a member of the Bloom Patrol at BELL Garden in Nashville. Nat is proficient in Spanish and dabbles in French and Italian. Time spent in nature or cooking is a source of energy, connection, and joy for Nat.

Grounded in a lifelong connection to creative work and sustainable practices, Nat values working with people of positive purpose. She chases the alchemy that happens when we foster connections between people, their wild ideas, and the resources they need—whether in professional learning spaces or community-based initiatives. As a learner, she’s curious about regenerative farming, dance, and how to repair stuff. When she’s not designing arrangements or facilitating programs, Nat can be found hiking, gardening, exploring Nashville’s food scene, tending to her senior dog, or immersed in a good book.

Retreat Yoga Practitioner

Amy Pierce is a yoga teacher and artist who lives in East Nashville. She has been teaching yoga since 2013, after her graduation from Three Trees Yoga and Healing Arts in Washington. Amy believes that your body is your oldest friend and that we should treat ourselves with kindness. She builds yoga classes around the idea of honoring your body and its wisdom and cultivating a stronger awareness of the effects of lived experiences on your body. She loves the smell of forests, the sound of cats eating crunchy kibble, and she strongly believes a matriarchal society will be the key to a better distribution of resources that helps heal our relationship with each other and with the earth.
