We are two nonprofit girlies turned female entrepreneurs on a mission to see women well.
We made our work our lives and now we’re making our lives our work, taking all we have learned from the joys, the suffering, the failures, and the flourishing and bringing it to you through retreats designed just for you. Whether you are joining us for IRL retreat experiences at Verdant Center or downloading our DIY retreats and doing them at your own pace, we can’t wait to be a part of your journey.
We also have a deep passion for collaboration and working with others to create custom experiences that allow them to step into their best and highest. Whether you are looking for a retreat custom built for you, your loved ones, your workplace, or another group you belong to, we’ve got you.

Meet the Co-Founders
Marielle has always been a dreamer and a person trying to understand the world. As a child that looked like her asking "why are we here?" on video camera after her dad complimented her on her easter dress—she was picturing space and wondering where we/humans would be if we were not on earth and what earth would be like without us. As Marielle got older, she realized she ultimately wanted to understand others and herself and had a lot to learn.
Vision is important to Marielle. It guides her days, weeks, and years, whether trying to compete in the Olympics as a child (spoiler alert: that did not happen), writing and photographing human interest stories in college, or working in social change efforts for the last 18 years. While she has many hopes and visions for the future (including big dreams for Verdant), she has also learned it is equally as important to feel fulfilled in the present and to reconcile with the past. She is grateful for all the people who have helped her get to this moment and grateful to be where she is now.
Marielle Lovecchio, Co-Founder
Megan Godbey, Co-Founder
Megan has always been a curious learner and a creative spirit. As a highly sensitive person, she often wondered throughout her childhood how to walk through a world that at times felt overwhelming, overstimulating, or just confusing. She learned from strong therapist practitioners how to care for herself, and began a career of teaching and leading with care for others.
Megan is an innovator, and has always been interested in creating new solutions for problems she experiences while working through intentional community. She has used this skill to support a wide variety of groups, including job seekers, interfaith communities, women in leadership, wedding/event planning, and social systems. With each new challenge, she has sought to integrate curiosity, arts and self awareness practices. She cannot wait to help more women look within on their path to being well.
