You’re in the midst of it..and it’s a lot.
That time that people speak about with sadness, anger, grief, disappointment and confusion.
Perimenopause, menopause, mid-life, middle age..this thing that is happening to you whether you like it or not.
Midlife brings profound changes—not only to our hormones, but to our identities, priorities, and nervous systems. So many women seek out medical support and are told everything is fine. But you know what is normal for you and this is not it. You just want to feel like yourself again.
Many women feel lost, overwhelmed, and unheard during this transformative stage of life. You’re not alone in feeling this way.
Join us for “Chrysalis: A Retreat for Women Facing Mid-Life” to explore what’s changing & what’s possible. Because midlife isn't the beginning of the end. It's an invitation to begin again—with greater wisdom, confidence, and self-compassion.
You’ll learn from trusted experts, connect with other women navigating similar experiences, reflect on what matters most to you, and begin creating a vision for this next chapter of your life.

About the Facilitators:
Amber Alexander Solano, Founder of The Resting Wolf & a GGS-Certified Menopause Coach, spent more than a decade as a corporate Diversity, Equity & Inclusion leader, building international strategies to advance workplace equity for women and marginalized people. That work showed her a pattern hiding beneath the inequity she fought: women are burning out at a systemic level, carrying the weight of work, caregiving, and community — often while navigating perimenopause and menopause with little support and even less acknowledgment. That realization led her to found The Resting Wolf, where she designs retreats serving women over 40, grounded in the real, lived experience of women's bodies and lives. Her mission is simple: help women remember what it feels like to be regulated, and give them the tools to protect that when they return home.
Samantha Raphael, a Clinical Mental Health Therapist at Mamaya Health & Yoga Instructor, is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor (A-LPC/MHSP), National Certified Counselor, and certified yoga instructor with over 20 years of experience teaching mindfulness-based movement and supporting whole-person wellness. She is passionate about helping women navigate life's transitions with greater self-compassion, clarity, and intention.
Samantha specializes in working with women experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity shifts. She believes midlife is an opportunity to reconnect with what matters most, redefine purpose, and create a more authentic and fulfilling life, rather than a season to endure. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, integrating evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and existential therapy. Drawing from her background in trauma-informed yoga, meditation, and breathwork, Samantha also incorporates mind-body practices that help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and facilitate resilience.
Anne Ward Eshelman, a WHNP-BC at HaneyGYN, found her way to nursing through a passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference through education. Today, she combines the best of both worlds as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at HaneyGYN, serving as both a clinical expert and a dedicated advocate for her patients. She is committed to providing evidence-based, holistic care that spans a woman’s entire life—from preventive gynecologic wellness to specialized consultations for PCOS, perimenopause, and medical weight loss. Anne's goal is to create meaningful improvements that impact not just women's immediate health, but their long-term wellbeing and longevity.
Melissa Chapman, Founder of Chapman Wellness, believes in living life with intention, embracing the beauty of aging, and making wellness a seamless part of everyday life. Her approach is rooted in practical luxury, helping women create simple self-care rituals that feel as good as they look. With a background in nutrition and nearly a decade of experience in wellness practice, Melissa guides women through rituals that support longevity, posture, and facial vitality. From face yoga and cupping to stretching and self-care practices, she creates approachable routines that merge science with beauty, empowering you to feel strong, confident and at ease in every stage of life.
