Retreat Facilitator & Yoga Practitioner
Kali Wheeler’s journey with movement began at a young age through competitive gymnastics, where she spent eight years developing physical strength, flexibility, and the mental discipline required to perform at a high level. This foundation shaped her lifelong passion for understanding how the body and mind adapt, respond, and grow through intentional movement.
After gymnastics, Kali explored other movement-based art forms, including dance and springboard diving, before dedicating twenty one years to coaching gymnastics. During that time, she worked with children of all ages and abilities and owned her own gymnastics company for seven years. Teaching and guiding others has always been at the heart of her work.
Yoga became a transformative practice for Kali, offering the same focus, balance, and strength she loved in athletics—while providing space for healing, stress relief, and inner peace. She has practiced yoga since 2014 and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in March 2023 at Santosha Yoga in Hendersonville.
Kali is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where students feel supported, motivated, and empowered in their practice. She believes movement is therapy and yoga is a lifelong tool for physical health, mental clarity, and gratitude.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Kali now lives in Hendersonville with her husband and teenage daughter. She enjoys spending time outdoors boating, kayaking, hiking, camping, and practicing yoga.
